There are many new quests for the player to discover in the land of Perisno that range from messenger duty to conquering entire towns. The rewards for such quests can be quite high, including such items as legendary weapons. For these quests, take care to have an empty inventory slot, otherwise you might retrieve nothing at all.

Do note, that "Rewards" mostly refers to the final reward. It is not uncommon to earn some aurums and XP during a questline for fulfilling intermediate steps.

The Dueler's Quest[]

Screenshot 6

Rewards: Strange Rapier (One-handed sword), 2,000 XP

The Dueler is a mysterious man who holds a legendary weapon, the Strange Rapier.

  1. Find the Weapon Enthusiast in the tavern of Arendal. Speak to him and learn about the Dueler.
  2. Talk to the trainer of any training field and defeat three Ace Fighters (around the Champion level) in a row. Each fight is without armour and with a random weapon. Health will be reset for the next fight.
  3. Go to the Great Library near Galwe and talk to the Literary Scholar. He will give you a book about the Dueler.
  4. Camp for some time until the book is read, it will tell you to travel to Qaletaqa in the Aroulo area.
  5. Go to the arena where you will first have an 8v8 with the Dueler's apprentices. They are level 40 with 35 strength and decent gear and it will be you and 7 other men that are first below you in your party. Your group will fight in full armor and a One-handed weapon.
  6. Talk to the arena master again and fight the Dueler himself. His rapier is only able to attack in quick and short stabs: his entire offensive power is negated by blocking down or walking forward so the stabs glance. Best way to deal with him is to block his attacks then either slash or stab (depending on the distance. of where he is from you) and he should go down pretty easily.
  7. Talk to the dueler, and he will give you his rapier as well as honor if you choose the second option and give you 8-16 of his apprentices.
  8. Go back to the Great Library near Galwe and return the book to the scholar.
  9. Head to Arendal and talk to the Weapons Enthusiast.

Kingslayer's Quest[]

20170209161712 1 (2)

Rewards: Kingslayer (Two-handed sword), 1,550 XP

Great Bard Targith is in dire need of a capable hero to seek for the legendary Kingslayer, a glorious weapon once wielded by Emperor Thyceo, said to have slain more than 7 different kings. But for Targith to continue his search he requires two important but long lost artifacts: Emperor Thyceo´s biography, as well as the lyre of Yralis.

  1. Speak to Great Bard Targith in the Tavern of Amarna to start the quest.
  2. Go to Verlorne Castle and speak to the Unusual Hermit at the Lord´s hall (don´t lie or intimidate him)
  3. Go to Westrey Castle and speak with Galine at the Lord´s hall (also don´t lie to him)
  4. Go to Blackfist Castle near Forde, and speak with Priest Calain at the Lord´s hall. Convince him to not commit suicide by gifting him 500 aurums (lowest option)
  5. Go to Wotin Caslte (Valahir territory) and speak to Sekr Frosttongue in the Lord´s hall. Challenge him to a duel (lowest option).
  6. Most challenging part of the Quest: You must defeat Sekr´s Valahir army. Valahir´s mountainous terrain prevents cavalry from being effectivly used. So the player should field a diverse army consisting of high level infantry or plenty of good quality archers.
  7. After defeating Sekr's army, head back to the Amarna tavern and speak to Targith to finish the quest. Targith will reveal he had Kingslayer all along: the retrieval of the Lyre and the Biography were a simple test. The player's reward is the legendary Kingslayer itself!

The Red Immortals Quest[]

Capture5

Rewards: Aegis (shield), Imperial Captain Armor, 10,000 aurums

A crazy man in the tavern of Grund is hallucinating about a mythical elite infantry division, only mentioned in the accounts of an Hakkonese historian: The Red Immortals. These soldiers where known for their legendary prowess and invincibility, but then suddenly vanished from the records of the old Hakkonese empire. It is for you to unravel the mysteries behind the Red Immortals. Warning: Red Immortals are one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful, infantry units known to all of Perisno. Be prepared for a fierce battle.

  1. Speak to the Crazy Man in the tavern of Grund
  2. Speak to Learned Scholar in the Great Library near Galwe
  3. The Learned Scholar will deny any further help, unless you retrieve a family heirloom from the grips of the bandit Rdahcim.
  4. Rdahcim´s outlaw warband will emerge near Galwe. Defeat him quickly before he is able to escape.
  5. Although Rdahcim might escape after battle, his hideout (Outlaw Encampment) will nevertheless appear on the map. Clear his hideout of all bandits.
  6. Return to the Learned Scholar.
  7. Go to the Lord´s hall of Amarna and speak to the Erudite Scholar.
  8. Speak to the Mythseeker in Sasspegah castle
  9. Head over to the village of Wahran, where you will encounter a small Red Immortal patrol consisting of 10 Red Immortals. However this patrol will flee upon contact, at a night speed of 4.1 and a day speed of 6.8. This makes them incredibly hard to catch and forces you to attack the patrol with a small mobile task force.
  10. After defeating the patrol, a message will appear subsequently on the screen reporting about the Red Immortal leader Mactabilus, who wants to avenge his men from the defeated patrol. Shortly afterwards a 40-60 men strong contingent of Red Immortals will emerge on the map.
  11. Defeat Mactabilus´ Red Immortal contingent. Although it is possible to knock out and capture Red Immortals (selling for around 612), it is not possible to recruit them. Upon the defeat of Mactabilus and his Red Immortals, you will receive the Aegis shield.
  12. Return to the Crazy Man in Grund for your reward.

Third Legion Quest[]

ThirdLegionQuest

Prerequisites: 500 renown, either: Third Legion armor set (helmet, armor, boots) or relation with Third Legion 20+

Rewards: 20,000 aurums, 8,000 XP, friendly relations with the Third Legion, free access to the Third Legion Outpost, including the special Third Legion mercenaries and items

Visavo Austad is in need of a commander and a strong cohort of men to help him take the Third Legion from Atanos Octiem's corrupted hands. (The Outpost is located northwest of Samarra Castle.)

  1. To be able to sneak into the Third Legion Outpost, you must first obtain a full set of Third Legion armor (helmet, armor, boots - any combination will do). Third Legion armor is marked as "made by humans for humans". Therefore if you are non-human, this way is closed as you can't wear it. In this case, the only way is to help Third Legion parties in battle until relations with Third Legion increases to at least 20.
  2. Inside the Outpost find and talk to Visavo Austad, located in the residential district to the right of the drawbridge before the large castle (note: you must have 500+ renown to progress past this point). Upon accepting the quest, Visavo Austad and some of his soldiers will join your party.
  3. At this point the Third Legion Outpost will become attackable, but it fields a powerful garrison. You must defeat Atanos Octiem and his garrison with Visavo Austad in your party, you don't need to field his other troops, though.
  4. Upon defeating the entire garrison, enter the fort one more time and click 'Claim the fort for Visavo Austad'.
  5. Talk to Visavo Austad once more to complete the quest.

How to obtain Third Legion armor:

  • hunt down Third Legion parties (i.e. Patrols, Atanos Octiem's Scouts etc.)
  • sometimes Third Legion troops spawn as part of the repeatable Adventurer Guilds' client quests
  • sometimes Third Legion troops spawn as part of "larger bounty quests" of tavern keepers (needs confirmation)
  • Alternatively, you can also purchase the full sets from Mystic Merchant

Upon completion of the Third Legion quest, the Third Legion Outpost will become a friendly location that you can enter at any time. Visavo Austad, as promised, opens the previously closed market in which you can find many merchants selling special goods including Third Legion equipment. You can also hire all Third Legion troops from the Third's Marshal.

Venetoran Empire Quest[]

Prerequisites: Third Legion Quest

Rewards: Aurora (one-handed sword), One Skill Point each in Leadership and Tactics, a full lordly set of Visavo armour, unlock Third Legion culture, several Third Legion troops, unlock Venetor (new city owned by the Venetoran Empire)

  1. Find Atanos Austad in the Third Legion outpost. He can be found at the door of the temple in the marketplace
  2. Speak with him, then say you would support him. He will tell you how the Third Legion dealt with the Demon Worshippers, and the fall of Venetor.
  3. He will then tell you to find the old capital of Venetor. Search the area between Hakkon and Tolrania (west of mercenary guild) until you find the Abandoned Settlement. If you have discovered it before you commence with the quest, take note of it. Like the outpost, it will disappear if you go too far
  4. Upon entering the settlement, select the option to climb over the walls with ladders.
  5. This is a tough battle, as you will be facing around 15-30 Assassins of Ral'Duin with only 3 troops at the top of your party as support. You cannot use your combat abilities in this battle. To win, move to the left of the settlement and find some cover. There, hopefully, only one or two of them would shoot at you. Make sure you have a high proficiency with a bow/crossbow and bring plenty of arrows. Forget a shield, the sheer number of Assassins will make them useless.
  6. If you've run out of ammo, but managed to bring down a good number of Assassins, break down the gates of the city and lure each and every one of them into melee. Having good armour and high melee proficiencies are essential if you haven't killed them off using ranged. Make sure you are a high enough level for this fight, companions will not help you here unless they are high enough themselves.
  7. After defeating the assassins, go back to Atanos Austad. He will tell you a large force of Ral'Duin assassins have been seen marching towards the stronghold, and asks you to help defend it.
  8. When you go back to the stronghold, you will find a Third Visavo there. Talk to him and he will explain the situation.
  9. You will have around 50-60 Third legion units to support your units in the defense, and Atanos Austad will ride over with an additional 10 Atanos Guards to assist. This is quite a tough siege if you are not prepared, It is recommended that you bring many archers to this siege. After repelling the attack, Austad will tell you about a merchant in Krain to go to. Go to the Shopkeeper in Krain and ask him "What is the best way to get to the water mill?" (the secret code Austad told you to say).
  10. After this, The Venetoran Empire will become it's own powerful faction with two lords, along with Atanos Austad as it's monarch and it's city will be filled with 1,600-2,000 men. The Third Legion Fort will also convert into a Venetoran garrison and the fief of Heruclo will change ownership from Hakkon to Venetor. Go to Atanos Austad to claim your reward, which is a full lordly set of Visavo armour, and one Skill Point each in Leadership and Tactics. You will also be able to change your kingdom's culture to third legion (talk to chancellor) for 500k.
  11. Inside the Third Legion fort, in a secret location, you can find a Venetoran Gladius known as the Aurora blade. Finding the blade without completing this quest will grant an unlit version, which is highly inferior. To obtain the lit version, return to the chest after completing the quest, and claim it for yourself. To reach the chest, go to the wall at the far end of Fort Trilond's market, sprint and jump over the wall (this may take a few attempts), then smash through the door and follow the path to the left. An alternative is when you are facing the marketplace go to the right alley, where there is a cart, jump over it, right again, you can see the stairs of the wall and parkour through the rooftops towards the location of the wall.
Assassins of Ral'Duin[4]
1 Ral'Duin
50 Mercenary Shieldmen
50 Female Assassin
110 Assassin of Ral'Duin
85 Mercenary Impoverished Knight
100 Mercenary Sniper

Defeating the Dreaded One[]

Prerequisites: 4,500 renown, Grazir Worshippers faction must be hostile

Rewards: Dreaded Sword, full set of Dreaded One's armor (helmet, armor, greaves, gauntlets), Nightmare (mount)

  1. Somewhat after you acquired 4,500 renown a messenger will spawn on the map and ride towards your party. He reveals that the Dreaded One has appeared near Galwe, and if he is not stopped he will destroy all of Perisno. Only you can stop him, adventurer.
  2. Go to Galwe and find the Dreaded One's army.
  3. This fight is extremely tough. The Dreaded One fields ~1,400 troops, about 100 of them being demons. He fields mostly cavalry, some crossbowmen, and a very small number of Otherworlders. This is the final confrontation. Make sure you are prepared, as if you defeat the Dreaded One, nothing else can stand in your way.
  4. After you are successful in defeating the Dreaded One and his army, he will tell you to visit him at the Shrine of Graznir and retreat.
  5. The Shrine is south of Tolrania and west of Elintor, where the Ankars usually spawn in parties of forty or more.
  6. Enter the shrine once you reach it.
  7. There will be troops ahead, some of them high level demons like Unholy Demon Generals. Take your time and kill them all. Make sure to loot the chest(s) for a Demon Mask.
  8. After you have slain all of the troops in the area, go to the main pavillion area and go up some steps. You will be taken through a narrow passageway that leads into a larger area, surrounded by demons and the Dreaded One himself, sitting on his throne. Don't waste your ammunition yet, as for now they are invulnerable.
  9. He will speak some words to you, and then you can and will fight him and his minions.
  10. This is an extremely tough fight. You will be fighting several demons at once, including the Dreaded One, and you will have to kill them all. Make sure to find cover very quickly, and kite them into a straight line for easy butchering.
  11. After you kill the Dreaded One and his minions, leave. He will drop his armor, his legendary weapon called the Dreaded Sword, and a demonic horse mount called Nightmare.
  12. Congratulations! You've defeated the Dreaded One and saved Perisno from imminent destruction! (Or perhaps, herald it's end yourself)
Dreaded Nightmare[5]
1 Dreaded One
1 Marshal Ialoch the Fiend
100-150 Dreaded Doomguard
200-300 Dreaded Fiend
300-500 Dreaded Ghoul
70-90 Dreaded Fallen

Note: The army will field several hundred more low tier units (most likely Dreaded Fallen).

Geldar Extermination Quest[]

Bluewoodplaceholder

Rewards: 7,000 aurums, +10 relationship with Elintor, -25 relationship with Geldar

Ultihdir, a minor Elintoran noble, has just recently accepted the honour to govern a small fief near the Geldar forest. Governing this territory has become more of an nuisance than a profitable task however: Geldarin Naphali have plagued his lands by raiding and pillaging the few farms and villages. One group in particular, lead by the Geldarin noble Kalrind, has caused the most severe damage upon Ultihdir fiefs. Desperate and in dire need of help, Ultihdir has pledged you to put Kalrind and his infamous band to an end.

  1. Speak to the minor noble Ultihdir in the Lord´s hall of Forniron. After accepting the quest, Kalrind's band will spawn just next to the city. Tip: Kalrind's Band will also attack adjacent Elintoran lords. This can prove to be helpful, in case you aren't able to defeat Kalrind on your own (or if you are thinking about causing havoc among the Forniron peninsula)
  2. Defeat Kalrind's Band. Kalrind fields a wide assortment of Geldarin troops, including powerful Geldarin noble troops. Upon contact, the relation with Geldar will decrease by 25. Even though your relation with the Geldarin Naphali might now be negative, you are still able to start Sidhethon's Geldar Quest.
  3. Return to Ultihdir and receive your reward.
Kalrind's Band[6]
1 Kalrind
24-50 Geldarin Foot Knight
24-47 Geldarin Noble
10-20 Geldarin Woodland Archer
20-40 Geldarin Woodland Bowman

Sidhethon Geldar Quest[]

SidhethonPlaceholder

Rewards: Duskfall, 50 Geldairn Noble, +100 Relationship with Geldar, -40 Relationship with Elintor, +40 Relationship with Aroulo Ojibwakan, 5,000 XP

A reclusive Naphali inside the tavern of Forniron, claims to require the player´s help in an important matter. He introduces himself as the Geldarin Naphali Sidhethon and briefly mentions, probably because of personal trauma, atrocities committed by the Elintoran Naphali. However for the Geldarin Naphali to be freed from their oppressors, Forniron must fall.

  1. Speak to Sidhethon in the Forniron tavern. He will give you the task to conquer the Elintoran capital of Forniron. There is no time limit, so you can complete this task on any occasion.
  2. Conquer Forniron. This may prove extremely difficult due to the massive archer advantage Elintor has over all the other major factions.
  3. Return to Sidhethon in the Forniron tavern.

Illica Falki Questline[]

Illicaplaceholder

Rewards: ability to recruit Illican units (upon payment), + 50 Relationship with the Illica Falki, - 100 Relationship with the Reich des Drachen

A quite peculiar man in the tavern of Voldeberg is offering the player a unique work opportunity. This man introduces himself as Nodah, a representative of the Illica Falki, and pledges the player to help the Illican´s in their struggle against the Reich des Drachen. Claiming that the Reich were foreign invaders who took former Illica territory by force, it has been every Illicans holy task to fight against this oppression, even though their forces are far inferior to the Reich´s army (concerning numbers). But the player may change every present Illicans fate, and finally rewrite history.

  1. Speak to Nodah in the tavern of Voldeberg. He will order you to attack a Reich's caravan and steal its gold.
  2. Defeat the Reich's caravan. Their name is colored blue, so don't attack any average Reich caravan. Upon victory, a freed Illican Soldier will gift the player with the Reich's gold, which he has stolen from the caravan. It will spawn in your inventory as "Reich's Caravan Gold". Don't sell it, or you will fail the quest. Be aware that your relation with the Reich might now be negative.
  3. Return to Nodah. (Relations with Illica +10, 2,000 aurums and 1,500 XP)
  4. Speak again to Nodah in the Voldeberg tavern. He will give the player a quest to defeat a Local Reich's Lord army. It will spawn near Voldeberg and is again marked in blue.
  5. Return to Nodah (Relations with Illica +20, 2,500 aurums and 2,000 XP)
  6. Speak once again to Nodah. He will give you a quest to defeat a large group of 90-100 Drachen Priester, which will spawn next to Voldeberg.
  7. Return to Nodah (Relations with Illica +10, 7,500 aurums and 5,000 XP)
  8. Speak once again to Nodah. He will give the player a quest to defeat a Valahirian mercenary warlord, named Gunnar. He is known as an infamous Illican killer and needs to be put to justice. Again this army will spawn around Voldeberg.
  9. Return to Nodah (Relations with Illica +50, 7,500 aurums and 5,000 XP)
  10. Speak one last time to Nodah. He will give you his last task, which is to conquer Voldeberg.
  11. Return to Nodah and finish the questline. You will be known by the Illica Falki as an legendary hero, next to famous historical figures like Zeladeck the Chosen One. Furthermore you receive the ability to purchase endless quantities of Illica Falki Hunter's from Nodah, which can be upgraded to higher tiers.

Remus' Quest[]

Rewards: 10,000 aurums and 1,000 XP

  1. Speak to Remus, who will be in Murdenholl
  2. Speak to Remus again, asking him to finish his story. (150 aurums)
  3. Find and speak to Archduke Methenor of Elintor, who will give you approximately 200 aurums.
  4. Speaking with a traveller by using the option "What's new?" will allow the traveller to convey a message: Remus has gone to the town of Sut to deal with a group of giants seeking to join the Wolf Knights. The player has an option to refuse the quest or accept it.
  5. Go to Sut and speak with Remus. He will state that you must deal with the group of giants interested in the path of the Wolf while he attempts to calm everyone down while inside the town. The player has one more chance to refuse the quest. If the player accepts it, Remus will state that the giants are just outside town.
  6. This is the most challenging part of the quest. You must defeat an army of Sut giants. The fight is very challenging and can easily and completely destroy an unprepared player character. The quest also functions as a bounty quest: if another group reaches and destroys the giants first, you fail.
  7. After your victory, return to Remus.

30-80 Sut Huntsman

30-80 Sut Clansman

High Priestess Khivachis Questline[]

Rewards: High Priestess Khivachis as a companion, 15,000 aurums, Drake

  1. Speak to High Dragon Priestess Khivachis in the castle at Reichberg
  2. Your task is to escort 30-50 Wyvern Riders from Reichberg to Voldeberg.
  3. Outside Reichberg, speak to the Wyvern Riders. After your conversation an army of 50-105 Sectarian Dragon Priests will spawn and attack you.
  4. Speak to the Wyvern Riders after reaching Voldeberg, then speak to Khivachis back at Reichberg for a reward.
  5. Accept the next part of the quest from Khivachis, to hunt down 5 groups of 25-55 Sectarian Dragon Priests. These will spawn around Reichberg one after another. Once a group is destroyed another one will spawn some time after until you can fulfill your task. Don't worry if a group is taken down by another party - enough will spawn. Do note, that these groups are always visible, even if they are outside of your spotting range.
  6. Return to Khivachis to complete this task. (7,500 aurums)
  7. Speak to Khivachis again for the final portion of the quest.
  8. High Priest Kunika should spawn near Friesing alongside 99 Sectarian Dragon Priests. Defeat his party and report back to Khivachis. Khivachis will now offer to join you, together with her unique mount "Eiskalt Drake", which is the same as a Dark Drake but without the special trait Eagle Eye.

NOTE: Make sure you have a big enough army to defeat the Dragon Priests. The Wyvern Knights on their own are not enough and if you can't beat them the quest will bug out and they will hunt you forever until you finish them.

NOTE: There seems to be currently a bug. By refusing to take Khivachis as a companion and then speaking to her again, you can get the reward (15,000 aurums + Drake) over and over.

NOTE: Khivachis is a hero, but no real companion. Unlike companions she can't do certain tasks (i.e. gain right to rule) and won't be affected by the auto-loot settings. She will also pick the weapons from her inventory, rather than taking whatever is thrown at her. This only becomes apparent if the player uses unusal combinations, like a two-handed weapon and a shield. Then she won't have a shield in combat at all (does "hit shield on back" work for others, too?). Otherwise in combat however, she acts as every companion. Also she does contribute to party skills.

Defeat the Sectarian group of priests[]

  1. Accept the quest from Kaiser Otto IV.
  2. Sectarian group of priests spawn near Voldeberg (approximately 200-250 units).
  3. Defeat the Secretarian group of priests.
  4. Talk to Kaiser Otto IV, you will get 5,000 aurums and a Drachretier Helm (+50 to head armor), relationship with Reich Des Drachen +50.

Peasant Rebels and Adventurers[]

Rewards: 250 aurums, unlocking the Adventurers Guild for further quests

  1. At your starting location, inside the tavern, you will find a person called Adventurer Guildsman. Talk to him.
  2. He asks you to hunt down a small party of Peasant Rebels (10-20 people strong).
  3. After defeating them, wait until the quest gets updated and go back to the Adventurer Guildsman.
  4. Aside from giving you your reward, he advices you to talk to Adventurer Guild members for further quests. This will lead you to the Find Meadbrewer quest.

Find Meadbrewer[]

Prerequisites: Peasant Rebels and Adventurers

Rewards: fully unlocking the Adventurers Guild

Chevalier of Fortune Michael Enigmatic, Knight of Fortune Alik Grizzled and Adventuress Melanie Comely are members of the Adventurer Guild and can be found in the taverns of Perisno.

  1. Speak to any Adventurer Guild member, who will send the player towards Fountain Hall.
  2. Speak to the Tavern Keeper in Fountain Hall. Ask about unusual drinks. Choose upper choice. He will start the quest "Talk to Silberfalke".
  3. Go and take a walk around the town in Fountain Hall. Talk to the armorer, Silberfalke, and ask about mead. Drink the wineglass to the bottom. Afterwards Silberfalke tells you the town where you will find Meadbrewer. If you didn't drink the wineglass to the bottom, the quest "Talk to Silberfalke" is closed, but you still have no clue where Meadbrewer is. For this, find one of the three Adventurers and get the location of Meadbrewer from him/her.
  4. Talk to Meadbrewer in the tavern. You can now finish this quest. There is an option to get a quest from Meadbrewer during your conversation. The quest given by him is nothing else than a regular "Adventurer Guilds' client quest".

In the future, Meadbrewer will not give you any quest. However you are able to finish every successful quest given by the Adventurer Guild when you talk to him. He is always located in the Beehouse. This location is unlocked, once you finished this quest.

Adventurer Guilds' client quests[]

Prerequisites: Find Meadbrewer

Rewards: either 10,000 aurums and 100 XP (Mysterious Group) or 5,000 aurums and 500 XP (Mercenary Warband)

Upon completion of the quest associated with Meadbrewer, your are able to ask any member of the Adventurer Guild for a bounty quest (similar to the "larger bounty" quests given by the Tavern Keepers) by talking about "making some couple of aurums". They will give you a client, located in a random town:

  1. The client will always be one of the following NPCs in the town: Guild Master, Tavern Keeper, Arena Master or one of the four merchants (Armourer, Weaponsmith, Horse merchant, Shopkeeper). Keep in mind, that you can't talk to the Arena Master and the Shopkeeper during night time.
  2. Upon talking to the client, they will request for you to dispatch a large warband. Size, type and strength of the warband encountered has great variance - it can range anywhere from a band of escaped prisoner fodder to Third Legion outcasts, to Kaikoth exiles or even a necromancer fielding undead troops. They will spawn near your location. If friendly parties are nearby, they will assist you in fighting them. It can happen that a patrol already fulfilled your task ("decided patrol"). Then the quest is closed and no further action is required. Go back to any member of the Adventurer Guild and ask for a new assignment.
  3. After you defeat the warband, go back to any guild member to claim your reward or travel to Meadbrewer's location, the Beehouse. Upon completion of this quest, it can happen that a party of Adventurers (200-300 people) spawns and hunts you.

Note: quests are repeatable (no cooldown). The game will check periodically if the mission is fulfilled and update the quest status. Until the status is updated you can't finish the quest.

Note: As of 1.3.4.5 it is possible, that the random town chosen is "Venetor". This city doesn't exist at game start and needs to be rebuild by completing the 3rd Legion quest line. So saving before taking this quest might be advisable.

Revolution in Vinica[]

Prerequisites: Find Meadbrewer

Rewards: 1 skill point in Leadership, 20,000 aurums and 1,000 XP

When asking an Adventurer's Guild member about customers, they talk about a lord seeking help.

  1. Find the current lord of Vinica.
  2. The lord, saying that he fears of a revolution in Vinica, will ask you to hire several Mercenary Nihonians. They can be found in taverns as regular mercenaries.
  3. Once you have Mercenary Nihonians in your party, talk to them.
  4. They tell that they are few in numbers and you must speak to their Ataman Omelian Kassap about more soldiers. Find him in Serin Castle (in Elintor territory).
  5. Speak to him and then escort him to Vinica.
  6. When you are close to Vinica, it will be taken by a unique faction called "Tolrania Rebels". When you reach near the town, talk to Omelian Kassap and he will enter the town. Follow him in.
  7. It will be a small fight against some Yeomen and few Nibor Hood's marksmen, pretty easy to defeat.
  8. After you defeat the rebels, go and meet Ataman in Vinica tavern (he can be in one of the rooms in 2nd floor).
  9. You will get 1 point in leadership and Ataman tells you that the rebel treasure is somewhere in town and you can try to find it.
  10. After you end the dialogue with Ataman, you'll spawn in Vinica street. You can skip this part of quest or try to find the treasure (you can find it in the right side of the street, after the barricade you can notice a door - it`s destructible. Destroy it and then go to the ladder, climb it, then jump on the shelf, then on to the next one and find a small chest with 5 gold ingots and yeoman equipment in it.).
  11. Unfortunately, your relations with Vinicia will drop by 20 points.
  12. Claim your reward from one of the guildsmen.

Note: After you crush the rebellion, you can notice that the garrison in Vinica is only about 50 Nihonians. The garrison will regenerate after some time, but you can use the opportunity to attempt to capture the town.

Deliver the Zann Engineer to Forde[]

Prerequisites: Find Meadbrewer

Rewards: 1 Skill Point in Engineering, 30,000 aurums, 1,500 XP, ability to hire Zann Militia, Black Warriors & Zann Mounted Berserkers at the Zann Outpost

Asking one of the Adventurer's Guild members about customers, they talk about a man in "strange black armor".

  1. The Guild member will tell you of a client wearing strange black armor located in the tavern of Forde.
  2. The client will tell you of his plight. He is a member of the Zann, one of the expeditionary forces sent ahead to build forts in Perisno before the Emperor arrives. He was sent to help provide materials for the Zann engineer who was contracted with building the Zann fortress, but he went missing while going through the desert on his way to Karnoth, getting stone materials for the great build ahead. He tasks you with finding this Zann engineer, Syabr, and returning him to Forde.
  3. He will give you a deed that you must bring to the Zann Outpost, on the northwestern coast of the continent. You can follow a prisoner train if you don't know where it is or go by yourself. Note: If you answer, that you don't have enough men for this task, then you will get the letter as well, but the Fort Captain will give you 6 Zann Kamikaze Warrior in addition.
  4. Speak to the Zann Fort Captain and show the letter to him.
  5. He will add a Ronin to your party, whom you have to talk to.
  6. The Ronin will tell you that the engineer was captured by Mosuru Riders in the deserts behind the mountains of the Drahara and the Kaikoth Confederation.
  7. You now have two options: Either defeat one of the Mosuru Riders in the area, take one of their riders prisoner and speak to him via the party menu or - given your relations with the Mosuru are good enough (25+) - simply ask any party of the Mosurus about the engineer.
  8. Both ways will lead you to the tavern of Amarna, where you should speak to the Tavern Keeper.
  9. She will ask you to defeat a group of Masnerian Mercenaries, which did run wild in her tavern. Teach them a lesson. (1,000 aurums and 500 XP)
  10. Afterwards, she will tell you that the slaves are being kept by the guild master of the town. (-1,000 aurums and 300 XP)
  11. Speak to the guild master and he will offer you the Zann engineer for 30,000 aurums, or you can help him with another matter.
  12. The matter is to hire some Freelancers to protect the city. Therefore you have to travel to the Freelancer Guild (located behind Leuven, in the wilds).
  13. Speak to the Freelancer Marshal in the center of the camp and he will offer some Freelancers for 10,000 aurums - half if you do a favour to him.
  14. The favour is to hunt down some defecting Freelancer soldiers. This group will spawn right next to the Freelancer Guild. (500 aurums and 500 XP)
  15. Either way, you have to seal the contract. There is no use in travelling back to Amarna before doing so. The guild master won't give you any money. (-10,000 or -5,000 aurums and 300 XP)
  16. Return to Armana. The guild master will now release the slaves, including the Zann engineer Syabr.
  17. Outside Armana you'll find Syabr leading his own small party. Accompany them to Forde. (Dayspeed of ~3.1)
  18. Speak to Syabr when you are very close to Forde and he will automatically enter the town.
  19. Speak to the man wearing the strange black armor in the tavern of Forde. (1,000 XP)
  20. You will gain one skill point in engineering, plus a writ that will allow you to hire advanced Zann troops at the Zann Fort, including the infamous Black Warriors.
  21. Return to any Adventurer's Guild member to conclude the quest. You will get 30,000 aurums and 1500 XP.
  22. Congratulations! You've finished!

  3. Once the conversation is over, you'll notice two groups of Amazons nearby, which are already targeting you. The parties consist of Ankars Matriarch's Guard and Ankars Virgins. A short conversation with them will lead to a loss of 5 points of relations towards the Ankars and the battle starts.
  4. With both parties gone, talk again to the Elderly Amazon. She thinks, she can now get to Fountain Hall on her own, thanks you again and gives you 10 aurums as a gratitude. You can now go back to any guild member and conclude the quest.
  5. The guild member asks you if the woman already paid you, because she didn't left any gold behind. You have been tricked! At least the woman left behind her Ankars Ranger Armor, which the guild member will hand over to you.
