Overview
The Perisno Maiden Recruit is an tier 2 troop upgrading from the Peasant Woman and upgrades to Perisno Sword Maiden.
While still defensively a weak unit, the addition of Skullcap(possible) and Nordic Shield(possible) make the unit slightly more durable. Offensively they gain access to crossbows and better one handed weapons with short reach.
Tactics
As with Peasant Women, it may be a wise strategy to use your trainer skill to advance past this tier, however they are able to contribute to a battle with their light/hunting crossbows and as long as they are kept at a safe distance can lend weight to an attack.
They will get decimated against cavalry and with their slow reloads, low health and poor armor they will not be able to exchange volleys with other archer units for long. Their best use is against infantry as the rear rank of archers, but should be protected by spears or counter-charge cavalry.
